Contill Secures $125 Million in Series C Funding... Expanding Supported Stablecoins

Contill, a cryptocurrency yield curator, raised $125 million in its Series C round. According to a recent report by Doubleblock, Japan's SBI Holdings invested exclusively through its U.S. subsidiary SBI Holdings USA. SBI Holdings continues to expand its cryptocurrency market infrastructure investments, recently also investing exclusively in EDX Markets' Series C round. Contill plans to expand stablecoin-supported currencies beyond USD and EUR to include Mexican pesos and Japanese yen, while launching new on-chain products and expanding its global team with AI-enabled operations. Founded in 2018 as a blockchain analytics firm, Contill transitioned to cryptocurrency yield curation, providing risk management and optimization services for institutional investors allocating capital to on-chain DeFi markets. Co-founder and CEO Tarun Chitra stated, 'As ETFs expanded participation in U.S. equities, tokenization and yield will accelerate DeFi market growth faster than the overall stablecoin growth rate over the next few years.'
