U.S. Receives 2,000 Ukraine Combat Drones... First Export to Shake Up Defense Industry

The U.S. has received 2,000 F10 small combat drones from Ukraine, marking its first official export of complete combat drones. This follows Ukraine's export control agency approving F-Drones' F10 drone sale to the U.S. in July, with the drones shipped shortly after. The deal highlights Ukraine's shift from exporting components to finished systems, facilitated by streamlined export procedures under emergency regulations. The transaction ties to the U.S. Department of Defense's $1.1 billion 'Drone Advantage' program, which aims to rapidly procure low-cost, field-tested unmanned systems outside the existing supply chain. F-Drones secured a spot in the program's first phase, with its F10 drone ranking sixth in a competitive selection process.
