KT Integrates AI into Urban Air Mobility Traffic Control, Unveils 5G Aviation Network Technology

KT is showcasing core technologies for urban air mobility (UAM) commercialization, including an AI-based traffic management platform and 5G aviation network, at the 2026 Korea Drone & UAM Exhibition. The company will collaborate with Hyundai Motor, Hyundai Engineering, Incheon International Airport, and Korean Air at the event, which highlights next-gen aviation mobility solutions. KT's UAM traffic management AX platform uses AI to analyze flight data in real-time, detecting anomalies and supporting human-in-the-loop decision-making. The company also demonstrates 5G aviation network technology with enhanced connectivity and dual-link capabilities combining 5G and satellite systems.
