KISIA Promotes Overseas Expansion of Domestic Security Firms... '2026 Business-Linked Invitation Program' Completed
KISIA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and ICT (led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Baek Gyeong-hoon) and KISA, operated the '2026 Business-Linked Invitation Program' to mark the 15th Information Protection Day. This year's program expanded participation from 7 to 19 domestic companies and 8 to 30 international participants through integrated business consultations. Domestic cybersecurity firms now engage directly with global government agencies, international organizations, national cyber security institutions (CERTs), regulatory bodies, and ICT enterprises, significantly broadening international collaboration opportunities. The program facilitated 104 business consultations, with some leading to MOUs, and enabled follow-up cooperation such as joint projects and technology collaboration. The 'Business-Linked Invitation Program' supports overseas expansion by connecting international demand entities with domestic cybersecurity firms. CAMP, a global cybersecurity cooperation network launched in 2016 by the South Korean government, now includes 53 countries and 77 institutions. This year's program attracted participants from Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Turkey, with diverse regional stakeholders joining CAMP-linked consultations. Participants explored technology collaboration, new business opportunities, and market entry strategies through continuous 1:1 business meetings with domestic firms.
