Government Advances Private SaaS Interconnection Infrastructure... Expanding Business Networks and Dualization Design

The government is enhancing the interconnection infrastructure for public institutions to expand private SaaS adoption. It will broaden the existing internet-based interconnection framework to include business networks for public officials and design a dualization system to address service disruptions and disasters. The Ministry of Interior and Safety and Korea Institute of Intelligence Society Promotion are launching the '2026 Private SaaS Interconnection Infrastructure Operation Support' project as a follow-up to the 2024 established platform. The initiative focuses on functional improvements, operational management, and utilization support, with emphasis on expanding the infrastructure to business networks and implementing a dualization framework with a primary system and private cloud backup. Enhanced monitoring and management tools will also be developed to ensure service reliability and compliance.
