Brazil Utilizes Tokenized Cattle as Collateral for Loan

Brazil's stock exchange B3 registered a loan using tokenized heifers as collateral. According to CoinTelegraph on June 24, this case represents one of the early examples of utilizing tokenized livestock as collateral in Brazil. The loan amount was 100,000 Brazilian reais (approximately $19,600), with 10 heifers valued at 120,000 Brazilian reais (around $23,500). The transaction was designed by Brazilian investment fund Target FIDC, with each heifer assigned a unique digital token linked to an encrypted digital identity.
