Naver Launches 'AI Studio' in Jongno… Expanding Commerce and Chigi-jik Ecosystems

Naver has established a studio enabling anyone to create content using robots and artificial intelligence (AI) at its Naver Square Jongno location. This initiative supports SMEs and individual creators to enhance the competitive edge of services like Smart Store and Chigi-jik. The AI Studio, set to commence trial operations next month and formal operations in September, features a robot filming studio for fashion sellers and a 3D virtual studio for Chigi-jik streamers. Collaborations with D2SF-invested companies incorporate technologies from StudioLab for multimodal commerce AI and Mubin for markerless motion capture, alongside lightweight adaptations of Naver 1784's Motion Stage technology. The robot studio automates optimal shooting setups for products, while the virtual studio enables streamers to create 3D character content without specialized equipment.
