Tether Leads Neura Robotics Series C, Stating "Autonomous Robots Need Financial Tools"

[Digital Today, Reporter Hwang Chi-gyu] Tether, the issuer of the USDT stablecoin, led a Series C funding round for German robotics startup Neura Robotics, totaling up to $1.4 billion. According to recent reports from The Block, Tether co-led this round alongside strategic and financial investors. This investment follows news from last year that Tether was considering large-scale investments in Neura Robotics. Neura Robotics develops humanoid robots, and precision robot arms, autonomous mobile robots, and service robots, aiming for environments where humans and machines work together. Beyond capital investment, Tether will also deploy its technology within the Neura robotics ecosystem, including integrating the Tether Wallet Development Kit into robot systems. Tether stated, "To be fully autonomous, robots must have integrated financial tools." Driven by significant profits from its USDT stablecoin business, Tether has been actively pursuing venture capital investments in recent years.
