KT Unveils E2E Quantum Security Network Concept to Address Quantum Computing Threats

KT announced at the 'Korea Institute of Communications Engineers Summer Academic Conference' special session its 'E2E Quantum Security' strategy to address future network security challenges posed by AI and quantum technology advancements. The event, held in Jeju, highlighted KT's plan to integrate quantum technology across network infrastructure, including data transmission paths, network equipment, AI data centers, and cloud systems. The strategy features three components: Quantum Link for data transmission protection, Quantum Node for vulnerability detection, and Quantum Vault for end-to-end data lifecycle security. KT aims to enhance cyber attack response speed and security through this integrated framework, with executives emphasizing AI-driven security innovations to strengthen network reliability.
