Ministry of Science and ICT, KISA Launch Seven Programs to Strengthen SME Cybersecurity Foundations

The Ministry of Science and ICT, along with KISA, has launched seven support programs to enhance cybersecurity for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). These programs follow the 'AI-Based Cyber Threat Response Private Sector Cybersecurity Promotion Plan' announced at the Ninth Science and Technology Policy Council meeting last month. All SMEs with weak cybersecurity can access these programs for free. The initiatives include: Security Investment Guide, Attack Surface Check, Software Supply Chain Security Diagnosis, SME Cybersecurity Support, AI Vulnerability Check Infrastructure, Mock Penetration Test, and Security Vulnerability Check. Each program provides specific tools and services, such as self-assessment guides, vulnerability scanning, and consulting services, with application deadlines ranging from June to December 2023.
