OpenFate Secures MiCA License Amid Europe's Stablecoin Expansion

OpenFate has obtained MiCA authorization, enabling regulated crypto services across the European Economic Area. The license, issued by Malta's Financial Services Authority (MFSA), allows the company to operate as a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP), offering on- and off-ramp services between fiat currencies and stablecoins. This approval comes ahead of the MiCA transition deadline on July 1, following similar licenses granted to Bitstamp Switzerland and Ripple's CASP preliminary approval in Luxembourg.
