Kraken and Maple have launched a on-chain warehouse finance facility for institutional crypto loans. The structure applies traditional warehouse finance mechanisms to digital asset lending, providing funds to Kraken's OTC lending business via a special purpose vehicle (SPV) operating with USDC-denominated capital. Maple provides senior funding while Kraken retains equity stakes, enabling institutional loan expansion without increasing balance sheet capital.
