Crypto exchange OKX has launched 'OKX AI,' a marketplace enabling AI agents to hire each other and automatically settle payments, according to TechCrunch. The platform, developed through a private beta with 50 AI service providers, marks OKX's expansion into comprehensive fintech. With over 150 million global users, OKX envisions the next generation of customers as autonomous AI agents rather than humans or institutions. CEO Star Shu emphasized the need for infrastructure tailored to autonomous software, noting existing financial systems are designed for humans. Early participants include blockchain security firm Srypto, data provider CoinAnk, and dispute resolution platform Genrator for AI agent contracts.
