GIST Hosts First Research Workshop Toward Commercialization of the World's First Perovskite Solar Cells

GIST announced the holding of a research workshop for the '2026 World's First Perovskite Solar Cell Commercialization Strategy Research Project' at the Central Library Theater on July 7. The Strategy Research Project, led by GIST, is a collaborative research organization involving UNIST, the Korea Institute of Production Technology, the Korea Electric Power Corporation Research Institute, and other academic, government-affiliated, public, and corporate entities. It aims to advance the commercialization of perovskite solar cells through comprehensive research from material development to module production and outdoor environment verification. This workshop, the first since the project's official launch in May, facilitated knowledge sharing and collaboration strategies among participants to address challenges in commercialization.
