Yeosu Conducts Large Bus Traffic Simulation Ahead of Island Expo

Yeosu City conducted a traffic simulation using three large buses at Dolson Jinmo District on September 9 to inspect traffic flow patterns for group visitors during the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo. The exercise aimed to preemptively address potential traffic congestion and safety concerns around the event venue. Officials and transportation industry representatives participated in the simulation, reviewing road infrastructure, parking access, and bus maneuvering routes. Key areas of focus included shuttle bus loading/unloading zones, large bus parking access routes, and road capacity assessments. The city plans to incorporate simulation results into facility planning to enhance traffic convenience and ensure safe transportation for attendees.
