Jeonnam Techno Park (Director Oh Ik-hyun) announced on the 12th that the 2026 Manufacturing Startup Shared Factory (Gwangyang) construction project, led by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Startup Promotion Agency, has been finalized. This initiative, spanning 2023-2029 with a total investment of 310 billion won, will build a 5,644㎡ 'Advanced Manufacturing Incubation Center' at Jeonnam Techno Park's site in Gwangyang Eoksin Industrial Complex. The facility will provide comprehensive support including technology validation, commercialization, investment attraction, and policy integration programs for startups. It will also feature shared manufacturing infrastructure with AI-powered safety management and IoT-enabled environmental systems, reducing initial costs for startups.
