China Expands Subsea Cable Technology Exports

China is advancing its subsea cable detection technology through a next-generation underwater robot developed by Dalian Jiaotong University researchers. The dual-detection system combines sonar and electromagnetic sensors to achieve sub-5% positioning accuracy, while noise-reduction algorithms enhance decision-making speed by 40%. Capable of continuous operations at depths up to 300 meters, the robot has been deployed in projects across Hainan and Guangdong provinces. China aims to target Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe with its global export strategy, enhancing international competitiveness of Chinese marine equipment.
