KISA to Host '2026 Supply Chain Security Insight Day'
KISA, the Korea Internet & Security Agency, hosted the first exchange event for companies participating in the 2026 Supply Chain Security Model Building Support Project on October 10 at the El Tower in Seoul's Songseo-gu. The event, held following a May agreement signing, brought together around 40 participants including CISOs and C-level executives from eight selected projects to share strategies for developing supply chain security models and implementation plans. Linking to the 2026 Information Protection Week, the event focused on 'Secure Design to Action,' featuring case studies on global regulatory compliance, SBOM-based security models, and 2026 implementation directions. Attendees discussed considerations for applying previous year's models to real-world environments and reviewed 2026 project directions. KISA plans to support model development and operations until year-end, conducting site visits and mid-term/final evaluations to assess progress and outcomes.
