Apple, Chinese Government Ink Agreement for Apple Intelligence Launch

Apple has established a local AI collaboration framework for the launch of Apple Intelligence in China. On the 15th (local time), according to IT media NineToFiveMac, Alibaba stated its Qwen model will be integrated into Apple's new operating system. Currently, Apple Intelligence features for the new Siri and other functions are only available via English-based iOS 27 beta in some countries. Apple has stated it will rapidly expand supported countries and languages. China remained a separate task due to local laws requiring foreign companies to collaborate with Chinese AI firms. This agreement means Apple now meets the conditions for a Chinese launch.
