Party and Government Agree to Establish Integrated National Military Academy at Daejeon Daeyang University

The government and Democratic Party agreed on establishing a four-year integrated National Military Academy at Daejeon Daeyang University, a military education and training hub. Defense Minister An Guk-bae emphasized creating a state-of-the-art smart campus leveraging KAIST and the Aerospace Research Institute's intellectual resources. The academy will adopt autonomous, specialized academic operations to nurture potential and integrate military training with international competencies. Long-term plans include expanding civilian faculty to 50% and establishing a dedicated organization for defense education reforms.
