Gigarein Signs Contract with Korea Aerospace Research Institute for Development of Space-Grade RF Connectors and Cables

Gigarein (049080), a RF communication components and semiconductor equipment company, signed a contract with the Korea Aerospace Research Institute to develop prototype space-grade RF connectors and cables as part of a domestication project for critical space components. The contract, valued at 27.638 billion won (excluding VAT), spans from July 16, 2026, to December 15, 2029, representing 6.71% of the company's 2025 fiscal year revenue. The Korea Aerospace Research Institute, which focuses on aerospace, satellite, and space launch system R&D, has no prior contracts of this type in the last three years. Production will be conducted in South Korea via in-house manufacturing, with payments structured in three installments following contract signing, report submission, and final prototype delivery.
