AI Drone Hunts Mosquitoes... A New Concept in Airborne Pest Control Technology

French startup Tornyol unveiled a mosquito control technology using micro autonomous drones. When users set a protected zone, the drones autonomously patrol the area. Using ultrasonic sensors, they analyze insect wing patterns to detect targets, then approach autonomously and eliminate them mid-air using rotating propellers. If battery levels run low, drones automatically return to charging stations, recharge, and resume their mission. A single drone can monitor up to 6000 pyeong of space.
