[ISEC 2026 Preview] Korea Quantum Computing: Step-by-Step Transition from Cryptographic Asset Discovery to Key Management and User Authentication

As quantum computing advances threaten existing public-key cryptography systems, organizations face urgent pressure to transition to post-quantum cryptography (PQC). However, the complex process of cryptographic asset inventory, key management, and user authentication poses significant challenges. Korea Quantum Computing (KQC) offers a PQC-based portfolio of security solutions to help enterprises securely adopt quantum-resistant cryptography. Established in 2021, KQC provides HSM-based security solutions, AI infrastructure services, and is a key member of the U.S.-led QED-C consortium. The company plans to open a quantum computing center in Busan by 2030. Its Crypto4A QxHSM platform supports both traditional cryptography and PQC algorithms, enabling phased transitions while maintaining operational continuity.
