OKX Europe Supports Conversion from USDT to USDC

OKX Europe has introduced a feature allowing EU users to convert their Tether USDT holdings to USDC, a compliant stablecoin under the EU's MiCA framework. The move comes as MiCA regulations restrict USDT support, enabling users to voluntarily transition to regulatory-compliant stablecoins. Users can convert deposited USDT to USDC via their OKX Europe accounts, with USDC being one of the major stablecoins available under MiCA. The EU finalized MiCA regulations on July 1st, leading platforms to restrict USDT deposits or delist trading pairs. Some platforms have started automatically converting user balances to compliant assets. OKX Europe stated this feature targets users who can no longer receive USDT or are preparing for automatic conversion, granting users control over conversion timing.
