Valve to Announce Steam Event Schedule for Next Year's First Half... Events by Genre and Concept Scheduled

Valve has revealed the tentative schedule for Steam's 2027 first-half theme discounts and events. According to the notice posted on Steam on July 18, the theme events and discount plans for 2027's first half are provisionally confirmed, though specific game lineups remain undetermined. January will feature the Desktop Companion Game Festival (January 14–18) and Store Operations Game Festival (January 25–February 1). February will include the Dual Game Festival (February 4–8), Co-op Game Festival (February 8–15), and the Steam Next Fest February Edition (February 22–March 1). March will host a Rhythm Game Festival (March 8–15) and Spring Sale (March 18–25), with unique concept events like the Dinosaur vs. Robot Game Festival (March 29–April 5). April will include Racing Game Festival (April 12–19), Witch Game Festival (April 22–26), and Fighting Game Festival (April 26–May 3). May will feature Real-Time Strategy Game Festival (May 10–17) and Hiking Game Festival (May 31–June 3). June will conclude with the Steam Next Fest June Edition (June 14–21) followed by the Summer Sale (June 24–July 8). Additional events include the Train Game Festival (July 20–27), Cyberpunk Game Festival (August 3–10), and programming-focused game festivals through September, with fall discounts and the Steam Next Fest October Edition planned for October, and a special Black Friday discount hub in November.
