Suncheon Launches 'Tanso Moa Tantan-e'... Offering Up to 200,000 Won Points Annually

Suncheon City announced on the 16th that it will issue up to 200,000 won in points annually to citizens who certify carbon-neutral activities such as walking, cycling, and using reusable cups. The points can be converted into regional love coupons for use within budget limits. The city will fully operate its citizen-participation carbon-neutral points platform 'Tanso Moa Tantan-e', where citizens submit QR codes, receipts, or photos via an app to earn points based on their activities. Eligible activities include public transportation use, cycling, walking, avoiding single-use plastics, purchasing local food, and using eco-friendly agricultural materials. While public transport certification is temporarily unavailable due to system upgrades, point conversion to regional love coupons may be limited if the allocated budget is exhausted. Participants must be residents aged 7 or older, install the app, and complete verification. Minors under 14 require legal guardian consent for regional coupon issuance.
