Daewon Pharm's Daewon Health Enters Olive Young, Home Shopping, and Big Department Stores... Strengthening Omnichannel Strategy
Daewon Pharm is rapidly expanding its distribution network across H&B stores, home shopping, big department stores, and convenience stores. Moving away from traditional pharmacy and hospital-centric distribution models, the company is advancing an omnichannel strategy to drive growth in its healthcare business. Following the selection of its sleep-health product 'Ggumja Shot' for Olive Young's 'Olyng Flick' event, the company announced participation in a major promotion 'Power Pack' lineup for next month. The 'Ggumja Shot' has already expanded its presence in the sleep care category since launching in over 900 Olive Young stores in February. Home shopping success was also achieved with its 'Mo Hair Collagen 3X' product, which sold over 900 sets in its debut on Shinsegae Live Shopping, surpassing sales targets. Expansion into large retail chains is also progressing swiftly, with initial entries in 60 Lotte Mart locations for 13 products. The company is also planning to enter GS25 convenience stores by Q3, aiming to create a distribution ecosystem accessible anywhere in daily life. The omnichannel strategy focuses on two tracks: 2030s-targeted liquid stick-type 'Shot' series incorporating proprietary formulations, and premium lines for middle-aged consumers featuring joint certifications and specialized ingredients. Quality management is supported by vertical integration, with a subsidiary handling raw materials, production, and quality control while the parent company focuses on product development and functional ingredient research.
