With the fire at Coupang's logistics center in Incheon's Sohaegu-gu entering its third day, Coupang and Incheon City are implementing all-encompassing measures to minimize resident impact. Incheon City is prioritizing real-time monitoring of air and water quality to prevent secondary damage, while Coupang has expanded support beyond evacuee and firefighter assistance to include health management and medical aid. The city activated its disaster safety headquarters, coordinated with agencies, and pledged continuous full-scale response until the fire is extinguished. Mayor Park Chan-deok emphasized maintaining the emergency response framework until the fire is fully controlled, vowing to concentrate administrative resources on restoring citizens' normal lives. Environmental safeguards are reinforced, with current air quality readings remaining within normal ranges. Health authorities confirmed no significant PM10 concentration disparities, while firefighting water disposal is proceeding without issues.
