Coupang Intensifies Disaster Relief Efforts in Incheon Fire, Expanding Health Support for Residents
As the fire at Coupang's logistics center in Sinhyeon-dong, Incheon persists, Coupang Fulfillment Services (CFS) is expanding its support beyond disaster relief to include health management for local residents. The company is now providing emergency supplies, meals, medical aid, and masks for schools, demonstrating comprehensive efforts to mitigate the impact. CFS has allocated 13,500 face masks to eight elementary schools and staff, benefiting approximately 4,500 students and educators. Additionally, CFS has deployed specialized nurses from its 'Coupang Care Center' to temporary shelters, offering health checks, medication, and prioritizing vulnerable groups like the elderly and those with chronic illnesses. The company is also operating shuttle buses between shelters and hospitals, covering medical costs, and improving living conditions with refrigerators and essential supplies. These measures reflect CFS's commitment to disaster response and community welfare.
