Samsung Electronics Unveils New CEO-Run Division to Lead Robotics Business

Samsung Electronics has formalized robotics as a key business initiative, establishing a dedicated division under the CEO's direct supervision called the 'RX (Robotics eXperience) Business Promotion Division.' The division will integrate cross-functional robotics capabilities, operate from the Seoul R&D Campus, and establish data factories in Gumi to accelerate prototype deployment. Global research hubs in the U.S., China, and Japan will leverage local expertise, while leaders like Lee Dong-kyun and Kim Hyun-jin will drive long-term strategic development.
