Cafe24: Food and Beauty Transaction Volumes Surge 44% and 38% in Two Years on D2C Shopping Malls

According to Cafe24's analysis of transaction data from its D2C shopping malls in the first half of 2026, the food and beauty sectors saw growth rates of 43.8% and 38.0% respectively over the past two years, ranking first and second in transaction volume growth across industries. Food and beauty sectors maintained the highest transaction volumes for five consecutive quarters from the second half of 2024 to 2026, with their combined share of total transaction volume reaching 28.3%, exceeding a quarter of Cafe24's D2C shopping mall transaction volume. The beauty sector expanded through new brand entries and sub-brand launches, while food growth was driven by repeat purchases and customer loyalty from established brands.
