Koeway Expands into 'Appliance Territory'... Malaysia's First Refrigerator Bet

Koeway is launching its first refrigerator in Malaysia, transitioning from a rental-focused business centered on water purifiers and air purifiers to a comprehensive appliance company. The two models, a 551-liter multi-door refrigerator and a 715-liter side-by-side refrigerator, feature advanced cooling systems, hygiene management technologies, and collaboration with global appliance manufacturers through ODM partnerships. Since entering Malaysia in 2006, the company has dominated the water purifier and air purifier markets, expanding into air conditioners and massage chairs in 2023 and 2024, respectively. The existing customer base and rental management network serve as a foundation for entering new categories, positioning Koeway as a comprehensive home solution provider.
