SelectStar Operates Red Team Challenge at Financial Security Agency's AI Camp

SelectStar announced on the 23rd that it conducted AI safety education and a Red Team Challenge at the '2026 Financial Security AI Academy Camp,' hosted by the Financial Security Agency and sponsored by KakaoBank. The camp, aimed at enhancing AI and security practical skills in the financial sector, ran from the 20th to 22nd at Kakao AI Campus in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, with 50 participants including undergraduate and graduate students. SelectStar provided the AI red teaming platform and managed the event, where participants analyzed AI model vulnerabilities and financial service risks using diverse attack techniques. An AI evaluation system automatically analyzed and graded submitted attack results, with team competitions conducted in a 'human vs AI' format. The Financial Security Agency plans to expand Red Team Challenges for financial company employees to cultivate AI security specialists. SelectStar's AI Safety Team Leader, Kim Min-wook, emphasized the growing importance of verification capabilities reflecting financial sector characteristics and regulations as generative AI rapidly integrates into financial services, and stated the company's commitment to supporting secure AI adoption and systematic risk management for financial institutions.
