Our Financial Group achieved a clear profit rebound in the second quarter of 2026, recording 1.609 trillion won in half-year net income. This marks the successful implementation of Chairman Im Jong-ryong's strategy to transition from a bank-centric revenue model toward diversified non-banking sectors including securities, insurance, and cards. Despite external challenges like Middle East instability and currency volatility, the group restored its operational resilience with 1 trillion won in quarterly operating income, driven by simultaneous growth in interest and non-interest income. Notably, non-banking sectors accounted for 22% of total profits, tripling their share from the previous year. Subsidiaries including Our Investment & Securities, Our Card, and Our Financial Capital delivered stable results, while newly acquired Dongyang Life Insurance contributed 919 billion won. This performance underscores the success of the group's strategy to strengthen non-banking segments previously considered weaknesses compared to KB and Shinhan Financial Groups.
