Perpetual commemorated the 10th anniversary of Black Desert's North America and Europe service with an offline event, revealing major new content updates and system overhauls. The '2026 Black Desert Held Convention in SoCal' was held in California on June 26, live-streamed globally in nine languages via official YouTube and Chigiz channels. Executives including Jang Jeeshik, Senior Director of Live Services, and new Development PD Yang Wansoo outlined future game operations and development plans. The event featured the debut of the 32nd new class, 'Agent' (male ranged class), with phased releases starting August 29. Expansions like the 'Edania Part 2' region and accessories 'Ecreta' and 'Apeiron' were also announced, alongside gameplay improvements like 'Hyper Boost' and a content schedule tracker. System overhauls include leveling caps up to 70 and 75, revised experience structures, and new ways to earn experience through diverse content participation.
