KAIST-NVIDIA Establish Physical AI Technology Center… Foundation Model Joint Research

KAIST has established the NVIDIA AI Technology Center (NVAITC) to advance joint research in physical AI, combining its expertise in human-centric robotics and real-world motion data with NVIDIA's AI technology and global research network. The center will focus on developing next-generation physical AI core technologies through collaborative efforts between KAIST's Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Human Physical Intelligence Research Center. Key researchers Gong Kyung-chul and Kim Jeong will lead the center, prioritizing research to understand and replicate human movement principles for robotic applications.
