LG Electronics is integrating the core AI technology of its AI transcription service 'Daglow' into its Gram laptop model. This enables Gram users to convert audio files and real-time voice into text without internet connectivity, utilizing AI auto-summarization features. According to industry reports, ActionPower, the developer of Daglow, supplied on-device AI models for LG's 'Gram Note' AI application. AI transcription capabilities will be available starting with the 2026 Gram model via updates. Daglow provides AI functions for transcription, auto-summarization, meeting notes, AI search, and presentation creation, achieving over 2.2 million downloads primarily among college students and professionals. The service employs task-specific LLMs optimized for meeting summaries and information extraction, achieving higher accuracy than generic models while maintaining low inference costs and resolving hallucination issues through precise tuning.
