Gangwon Yeongdong County National Sports and Health Center Completes Public Design Symbolizing Health and Regional Vitality

An art wall embodying health, vitality, and regional identity has been installed in the external space of the Gangwon Yeongdong County National Sports and Health Center. Designed as a public art space where residents can naturally encounter it, the installation elevates the symbolic value of the sports facility while enhancing the city's aesthetic. The artwork, expected to become a new regional landmark, integrates movement and rest, fostering a space where visual storytelling complements community-driven sports culture. The design captures the center's ethos of 'health as the core of life' through graphic depictions of diverse age groups engaging in sports, while dynamic curves symbolize collective health energy. Side panels feature fluid, wave-like forms in vibrant hues, harmonizing facility functionality with natural imagery. Modular stone panels, crafted using Zoomtone's specialized technology, preserve natural textures while ensuring durability and maintenance efficiency. The project underscores the center's role as a hub connecting people and the region.
