KOSPI Breaks 6,000 Mark... Historic Two-Day Circuit Breaker Triggered

The Korean stock market plummeted as it faced two consecutive days of selling pressure and circuit breakers. The KOSPI dropped to the 5,200 mark before stabilizing but failed to recover the 6,000 line, with the KOSDAQ also falling over 6%. On the closing day, the KOSPI fell 360.42 points (5.98%) to 5,663.24, while the KOSDAQ closed 43.17 points (6.12%) lower at 662.68. Circuit breakers and selling-side orders triggered repeatedly across both markets, marking the first time in KOSPI history that two consecutive circuit breakers activated simultaneously.
