Government to Develop 'K Drone Package' Export Strategy… Developing Country-Specific Models

The government is moving to establish a long-term strategy to support domestic drone companies in their overseas expansion. The plan goes beyond exporting drone hardware to include the dissemination of a Korean-style drone operation model abroad, encompassing qualification systems, education frameworks, and safety management systems. According to industry sources on March 31, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS) are advancing a study to develop a long-term export strategy for drones. This involves identifying promising markets, creating country-specific export models, and formulating a five-year overseas expansion strategy.
