Naver Invests in Ubifly Drone Platform to Expand Physical AI Ecosystem

Ubifly (CEO Im Hyun) announced on Monday it has secured investment and a strategic partnership from Naver, though the investment amount remains undisclosed. The collaboration aims to integrate Naver's AI, cloud, and digital twin technologies with Ubifly's drone swarm flight and autonomous flight platforms to launch a strategic push into the public drone market. The partnership seeks to build a physical AI infrastructure enabling drones to real-time sense and autonomously operate in environments ranging from smart cities to public safety. Ubifly holds the Guinness World Record for the largest drone swarm and has previously won the 'Exporter of the Year' award, as well as participates in the Drone Code Foundation's board. Im Hyun stated, 'As physical AI and autonomous robotics expand AI's real-world applications, drones are emerging as a key future technology sector. Combining Naver's physical AI capabilities with Ubifly's drone technology will create new possibilities across industries.'
