AIVEX Achieves Unmanned Automation Success with Physical AI
AIVEX, a specialist in industrial physical AI, successfully implemented an unmanned automation solution for a leading domestic 2nd battery material manufacturer using its AI robotics platform 'Aibot.' The project automated the removal of crucible pallet lab and strap work, achieving tasks such as strap recognition and path generation, joint detection, vertical strap direction determination, bracket position detection, crucible misalignment correction-based lab cutting path creation, and post-cutting inspection. The core technology is the ROS2-based Aibot platform, which enables 2D/3D optical systems, NVIDIA Jetson PC integration, AI models, 6D pose estimation, autonomous path generation, and communication with peripheral devices. AIVEX developed an adaptive AI robotics solution, partnering with third-party firms for hardware and PM components. The CEO emphasized this is the first case handling multiple materials in a single setup, overcoming previous manual work limitations in positioning and safety. AI vision challenges included lighting reflections and angle variations, requiring advanced algorithms for accurate strap detection.
