Korea Quantum Computing Completes 'Quantum Security Transition' PoC with LS ITC
Korea Quantum Computing (KQC), a quantum computing specialist, announced on April 4 that it successfully completed a Proof of Concept (PoC) for post-quantum cryptography (PQC) security technology with LS ITC, an IT service company under the LS Group. The PoC aimed to enhance security levels in smart infrastructure and manufacturing environments to counter threats from agent AI and quantum computing. KQC focused on verifying the practical applicability of quantum security technologies across authentication, access, and operation management. Key validations included implementing PQC-based FIDO authentication keys to strengthen user login security for LS Group, and establishing a centralized secret management system for server-to-server authentication. LS ITC plans to proceed with full-scale technology adoption, while KQC aims to accelerate quantum security innovation across industrial infrastructure.
