Tesla's latest Full Self-Driving (FSD) software V14 expands autonomous capabilities to cover vehicle operation from departure to parking, though navigation errors and parking judgment remain unresolved. A user reporting 2 weeks of driving a 2026 Model Y found HW4-based FSD V14 reduced intervention frequency compared to HW3-based V12, but navigation inaccuracies and parking issues persisted. While HW4's enhanced computing and camera systems enabled smoother start-stop automation and successful parking in residential areas, public parking challenges remained, including inability to recognize disabled spaces or select optimal spots. The user noted Google Maps still incorrectly displayed certain locations as green space, causing address misidentification and route errors like entering one-way roads in the wrong direction.
